The Transient Circus

On Sunday Kyle and I went to go visit George miles away.

George is a black lab that Kyle and I had for a while. He is a big boy weighing 120 IB and loves to play, cuddle, and steal food. He was such a great dog and brought us a lot of happiness and memories. But unfortunately, our small apartment wasn’t up to his needs. He needed a bigger place to run around and get his energy out. It was tough having a 120 pound dog inside a small 2 bedroom apartment. He couldn’t even turn around in the hallway. So we had to make the tough decision of putting him up for adoption through a Veteran’s Dog Rescue. Luckily within a few days, George found a new owner. And now George lives in a big house with a huge backyard. He has a doggy roomate and a new owner that loves him very much. His new owner is great and says we can come visit George anytime. So that’s what we did Sunday and he seemed super pumped to see us. It was crazy seeing him again cause I always forgot how big he was. He almost knocked me down a couple of times! What a goofball. We love you George. Glad to see you doing well!
